What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

Who we are

Cardsmith Studio AB is a two-person business-card design and printing studio at Kungsgatan 12, 111 35 Stockholm, Sweden, run by Reyna Okafor and Theo Lindqvist. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@cardsmith.studio.

What we collect

Contact form details. When you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide.

Card design content. The details you type into the editor — name, title, company, phone, email, website, and address — exist to appear on your card. If you export a PDF without ordering, that content is processed in your browser and not stored by us.

Order details. When you place a print order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, the final card design, and your chosen stock, finish, and quantity, so we can print and deliver the run.

Technical basics. Like most websites, our hosting and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) process your IP address and basic browser information to keep the site working and the form abuse-free.

How we use it

To answer your messages and quote custom runs.
To print, quality-check, pack, and ship your order.
To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices under Swedish bookkeeping law.
To protect the contact form from spam and abuse.

We do not send marketing emails, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run a small print studio: our website and form-submission platform (B12), Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, and the postal or courier service that delivers your cards, which receives your name and shipping address. Each provider processes your data only to perform its service for us.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages: up to 24 months, so we can follow up on ongoing conversations.
Order records and invoices: 7 years, as required by Swedish bookkeeping law.
Final print files: 12 months after delivery, so we can reprint your run on request — deleted earlier if you ask.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, restrict or object to our processing of it, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email hello@cardsmith.studio and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Cookies

We keep cookies to the minimum needed for the site to function and for reCAPTCHA to distinguish people from bots. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and its effective date. Meaningful changes to how we process order data will be flagged to customers with open orders by email.
